24-Hour Onsen in KL — the Chinese Bathhouse Way

Searching for an onsen in KL that never closes? Here's the honest difference: most hot-spring spots in Kuala Lumpur follow the Japanese style. One Spa is the Chinese-style hot spring house — every therapist is from China, and the experience is built around the full Chinese bathhouse ritual: soak, scrub, massage, eat, rest. Level 2, Viva Home Mall. One ticket, a full 12-hour stay, open around the clock.

The Chinese bathhouse difference

The soaking part is the same everywhere: hot pools open up your blood vessels and loosen tight muscles; a cold plunge right after tightens everything back up and wakes you up completely. Two or three rounds beats a nap on any day.

What happens after the soak is where Chinese bathhouse culture takes over: a traditional Yangzhou body scrub by a master who's done it for decades, a proper Chinese tuina massage, then hot claypot rice and tea, and a recliner in the movie lounge to sleep it all off. That full soak–scrub–massage–eat–rest chain is the Chinese way — and this is one of the very few places in KL doing it.

Pools & heat rooms

  • Herbal hot pool — approx. 43°C; 10–15 minutes until you break a light sweat
  • Cold plunge — approx. 13°C; 30 seconds to 2 minutes right after the hot pool
  • Salt-crystal steam room & sauna — dry and wet heat, use them between soaks
  • Yangzhou body scrub — traditional hand scrub by experienced masters; many guests come just for this
  • Movie lounge and recliners for resting between rounds, with dining right there
